19 weeks down...21 to go!
Deep down inside, I think this baby is a boy, but all the signs are pointing to a girl. I have the "estrogen rash" that I had last time I was pregnant. This time it's a lot worse. My previous doctor said the rash was caused by excess estrogen making my capillaries burst.
In addition, the baby's heartrate is consistently 157 beats/minute at our check-ups. This is the same as Malena was in utero.
I don't think I can stand the suspense this time, so I'll probably find out next Wednesday what we are having.
Unfortunately, I am sick again. My darling Malena is catching nasty germs from daycare and spreading them around our house. Even T.J. (who never gets sick) got this cold. I felt so badly today that I had to call in sick to work and send Malena to daycare just so I could get some rest. Hate doing that.
It's so boring at home alone! I can't remember the last time I was home all day without the baby. So, I've been reading a toddler training book and trying to decide when to get Mimi to start. She's showing all the signs of readiness even though she's only 17 months old. It would be nice not having two babies in diapers at one time. We'll see.
